Rabbi Jim Cohn will teach a year-long Adult Education course, using Rabbi Jamie Korngold’s The God Upgrade as the text. The subject is the rich variety of ideas about God that have evolved in the Jewish continuum, infused with Rabbi Korngold’s energetic commitment to a fresh, reality-based view of God and the universe. The course will all be of interest to believers, unbelievers, not-so-sure-about-things-ers, and anyone looking for a dynamic view of the religious enterprise. Feel free to bring your non-Jewish friends to the classes.
A copy of the book will be available for purchase for $15.00 at the first meeting. Please bring a check made payable to "Temple Israel" or the exact amount in cash.
